Let's compensate with spiritual values

I wanted a translation magazine to be created and every month the Armenian reader would get information from world literature and learn news. It would also affect our literary skill, it would elevate and stretch the writer. This reader would not remain our "monopoly", readers' demands would increase. I am talking about prose, but this can be extended to poetry as well, although this is a more whimsical region. The need for a journal of literary criticism is also strongly felt. the squad of critics should be expanded and strengthened. not a single line of the writer should remain unregarded, while a considerable part of the literary production remains beyond criticism. These factors will contribute to the strengthening of our literature.
Dashtens' novel "The Call of the Ranchers" was created, which, unfortunately, the author did not manage to transcribe, edit, clean up, revise. Regardless of that, along with the patriotic charge, it is also a matter of aesthetic perspective charge. A work that helps in the retelling of myth, history, legends, understanding the spirit of the people, the correct understanding of the relationship between the land and the writer, the people and the writer.
I read "The Clouds of Maruta Sari" and felt the pain of Mushegh's loss more deeply. He was a unique author. He was a boy like a miracle. But our literature will have new "conscripts" of many generations. We also have names that will fill the day tomorrow. In prose, let's mention Meruzhan Ter-Gulanyan, Vano Siradeghyan.
Of course, there are achievements, names, deeds, but it seems that we did not fully justify the hopes that the seniors attached to my generation years ago.
It is possible that my inadequacy stems from the great demands of our reality, our time. We are obliged to write better, to write more deeply, because our reader is well aware of the classical and modern literature of the world. We must keep in mind the world level of literature, otherwise we will lose the reader. We must be able to impose our joy and pain on the readers of the four corners of the world, as their writers often impose theirs on us. Under the gaze of world literature, we should raise our problems, which we know best, our problem, our worries, perspectives to a level that excites everyone.
We often bring reality to literature without poetic wings, effectively removing the title of artist from between reality and literature.
Literature is the reality raised to the level of poetry, winged by the wings of poetry.
Often, unfortunately, we try to re-edit the winged, spiritual values created by our great ancestors. In a word, we raise our hands on sanctified literary figures. It is not allowed. Meanwhile, I think that true literary value is something that opens all doors. Even the sworn enemy of art cannot fail to give way to true literary value.
Although "Our Run" and "Trees" were recently published, their birth was before the previous congress. During this time, I have suffered from my unfinished works, almost none of which have been finished. should be reviewed, edited.
To read the works of my friends with confidence, believing that the first successful page will be followed by other good pages. I would like my friends to think about my work in the same way. Their failures are mine, because we are cultivators of the same language, the same culture, we do the same work.
I look at every new work of Haykino with fear and anxiety. the national image, which our cinema is responsible for creating, is missing from the screen. What I said also applies to music, architecture, painting and other spiritual fields.
Saroyan says that no one should think that I am not with him. More simply, the writer should be among everyone. Even more simply, literature is what every person reads and feels like an addressee, thinking, "It's about me."
We must strive for this.
Armenia produces industrial, economic and scientific values. We need to express and cultural value. Figuratively speaking, our tuff is taken with great love. It is desirable that we could create an equal demand for literary works as well.
It is a sad thing to be a consumer of world culture. should also be exported.
Our century is a century of translations. There is something relentless about this. This translation competition is a fierce battle. Cultural defeat equals spiritual defeat.
The assembly can create such an atmosphere of high, strict demands and kindness towards national values that we can compensate the values given by the people with similar spiritual treasures.
