1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use govern access to hrantmatevossian.org (the “Site”), the official website of the Hrant Matevossian Foundation and Hrant Matevossian. By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Purpose of the Site

The Site is a literary, cultural, educational, and informational resource. It provides access to works, archival and biographical materials, photographs, recordings, events, Foundation information, and selected products. Content may be updated, corrected, reorganized, or removed at any time.

3. Intellectual property

Literary works, translations, photographs, audio and video, archival materials, trademarks, design, and other Site content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws and may belong to the Foundation, authors, heirs, licensors, or other rights holders. Access to the Site does not transfer any ownership or license except the limited right to view the Site for personal, non-commercial, educational, or research purposes.

You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, adapt, publicly perform, sell, scrape in bulk, or otherwise exploit protected content without permission from the relevant rights holder, unless applicable law expressly permits the use. Quotations must be limited, accurate, and accompanied by appropriate attribution and a link to the Site.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the Site in violation of law or the rights of another person;
• attempt to bypass security, access non-public systems, or disrupt operation;
• introduce malware, automated abuse, or an unreasonable technical load;
• misrepresent affiliation with the Foundation or Hrant Matevossian; or
• remove copyright, attribution, or rights notices from Site materials.

5. Analytics, cookies, and privacy

The Site uses Google Analytics and related cookies or identifiers to measure traffic and improve content and usability. Where consent is required, analytics storage is controlled by your consent choice. Our Privacy Policy explains what information is processed, why it is used, available controls, retention, and how to contact us about privacy rights. The Privacy Policy forms part of these terms.

6. Products, events, and third-party services

Product availability, prices, event dates, venues, and program details may change. Please contact the Foundation to confirm time-sensitive information. Links, embedded media, maps, social networks, payment or communication services operated by third parties are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or availability.

7. No warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that all content is complete, current, error-free, continuously available, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing on the Site constitutes legal, professional, or commercial advice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Foundation and its representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the Site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Changes and severability

We may revise these terms when the Site, our practices, or legal requirements change. The revision date appears above. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
