We began the spring with the words of a great writer. Dear friends gathered beneath the Centre’s roof to remember, to listen and to breathe once more the words that remain with us and continue to shape us.
“I am the master of my time,” we said, bringing the anniversary year to a close not as a formal report, but as an understanding of the road travelled. We watched the animated film created around this motto and unveiled the writer’s portrait bust.
Spring began with a presentation and a toast—a celebration of the life-giving power of words.
