Who is Matevossian? What path did he travel after his first work? What legacy did he leave? What is his place and weight in literature? How do we learn to understand great writing—and who defines the literary canon?
On 7 November, Davit Matevossian and Hovhannes Hovakimyan discussed these questions and more with young readers at the Khnko Aper Library. If the meeting helps even one or two of them open the door to literature’s mystery and build their own scale of values and standards, the day will have achieved its purpose.
