Sero Khanzadyan

Armenian literature, the entire Armenian cultural life, Armenian social and political thought suffered a heavy loss: Sero Khanzadyan, the writer, publicist, figure, died in the 83rd year of his rich life.
His hoarse, daring, commanding voice will no longer be heard in the squares of the masses, the earthly and temporal territories of the Armenians will no longer be marked by the steps of that warrior and scientist, that explorer and documenter, that geographer and chronicler, tomorrow's pioneer of Armenian literature and Armenian history will no longer expect his encouraging call from his back - his earned, tired life has fallen behind the eternal march of his people today: On this day in June 1998.
Born in 1915, Goris. He had a hard childhood and youth, more than a hard youth, but that heaviness bordering on brutality seems to have been specially created only for the sake of hardening a resilient and victorious warrior, he had to survive and fight to regain the victories lost by him and the ancestor of us all and had to fight to live the lives that he and our ancestor did not live.
"People of our regiment", "The land", "Mkhitar Sparapet", "A record of existence", "Kajaran", "Queen of Armenians", "With my father and without my father", front diaries, "Andranik", "Nzhdeh" - since 1949, his literary life has not known a single year of drought, the literary, public and political arena has not seen his absence and silence.
A witness to years of hunger and mental barrenness, he thirsted to raise a cultural monument of himself, and he raised that monument, the real dimensions of which we see today and the real importance of which we see today and feel tomorrow - his voice, his madness, his wisdom, his courage and prudence in our empty squares.
