About the edition
This retro-facsimile edition of Hrant Matevossian’s collection The Trees reproduces the book published in 1978, now adding an impression of the writer’s personal stamp and the handwritten dedication addressed to Matevossian by a group of students on 12 December 1978. That very copy of The Trees, presented by the students, is kept in the writer’s library.
The book’s annotation
“The protagonists of the novellas in this collection have complex, contradictory and often conflicting personalities, yet they are united by the desire to see and make life brighter and richer.”
All the works in this 1978 collection appeared in book form for the first time.
