“An Ocean of Lori’s Brilliant Thought: Mapping Hrant Matevossian’s Journey” is the title of a project by pupils of the Hrant Matevossian School in Ahnidzor, created for the Visual Armenia Foundation’s Smart Screens competition.
The pupils made the most natural choice: to trace the path of their great fellow villager. That path brought them to our Centre. They visited the exhibition “An Attempt at a Self-Portrait”, paid tribute at the pantheon, asked questions, listened to the answers and carried away new light for thought.
The project was led by Sirush Karyan; its young messengers were Tigran, Sona, Karo, Milena and Alex, accompanied by their teacher Nane Karyan. The village sent its children to meet its distinguished son, and they came with dignity, carrying his words on their lips.
